Max Durante

Max Durante is hands down one of the best dj’s I’ve seen play. I first witnessed his turntabl-ism skills at a rave in his hometown of Rome that we played together back in the earlier part of the decade. He pulled out a pair of drumsticks and started playing beats over a record by sending vibrations through the tone arm perfectly. Further into the set he was cutting and scratching between records seamlessly on beat and making it all sound so very fluid. Mix these kind of technical and audio skills with hard but yet cerebral techno put his dj sets in a class of it’s own, a very high class.
