Italian DJ and producer MITA, originally from the island of Ischia, sees music as a form of unconstrained expression. His sound draws from the groove-laden techno of the late 90s and early 2000s, blending tribal rhythms, funky grooves, and old-school influences with a contemporary approach.

His releases on labels like Intec, CROWD, Suara, and Uncage have earned him the support of artists such as Ben Sims, The Advent, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, FJAAK, and Daria Kolosova. Outside the studio, he has played at clubs like Fabric, D-Edge, Melkweg, Tempio Del Futuro Perduto, Family Club, El Sótano, Sonorama, Bassement, Duel Club, Sakog, and ZUL, and his music has graced the stages of festivals such as Awakenings, Time Warp, Tomorrowland, Monegros, Sonus, Neopop, Ultra, Intercell, Brunch Electronik, elrow, Glitch, and Stone Techno.

Always searching for forgotten gems and timeless records, MITA draws on decades of electronic music history to shape both his productions and his sets, with a deep respect for the culture from which they come.

His most recent release is a collaboration with DJ Swisherman released on vinyl by SLOKWERK, Slin's label.
